8 3/4" tall, .5 liter, stoneware stein with relief pewter lid, cobalt blue background, hand painted relief details. Neuschwanstein is depicted in beautiful hand painted detail on the front of this German made stein. Linderhof, another of King Ludwig II of Bavaria's castles, is shown on the right with Hohenschwangau Castle or Schloss Hohenschwangau, Ludwig's childhood residence, on the opposite. The top border features swans and the mains scenes are framed by arches & columns. The unique flared out base gives this stein a regal look with it's deep cobalt blue, red and 24K gold accented scrolls, mimicking the velvet, jewels and gold of a crown.
