NEW OLD STOCK: As long as Anheuser-Busch has been brewing beer, the company has also had to find ways to transport its products to vendors across the county. Over the years, the brewery has taken advantage of many different modes of transportation. The Early Delivery Days Series commemorates the methods Anheuser-Busch used to distribute its beers, including some of the earliest motorized vehicles like the flatbed stake truck portrayed on this second edition stein. Series artist Don Curran has once again captured the nostalgic charm of a bygone era with his illustration of an early 1930s street corner on this 1934 Budweiser Flatbed Stake Truck Stein. The scene shows three workmen unloading the flatbed truck, using a woven barrel cushion to protect the beer barrels as they're lifted off the truck. If you look closely, you'll also see another modern innovations besides the truck - the neon Anheuser-Busch sing above the tavern door. Features a pewter lid with ceramic inlay and pewter remarque. 8 3/4" tall. Comes in original gift box. Made by Ceramarte of Brazil.
